it wasn’t until i was 24 when i began starting questions about my family’s heritage. as i recently finished Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai’s The Mountains Sing, i once again asked my parents, my aunt and my grandmother about our story. this time, i even dared to dream of my ancestral home.

Finally,

a new place to share my thoughts. Though this will primarily serve as a portfolio website, I am planning on using the blog functions of wordpress every now and then. Probably not very smart to share my thoughts out on the internet on a website that’s supposed to give me some kind of credentials in academia but here I am – I do always like to put myself out there …
